A Little Bit About Me
I don't fit into a box neatly. I am from a respectable north Indian Muslim family. My moral values and views are generally conservative, but I have an open mind and welcome non-biased discussions on faith, politics, personal philosophy on life, etc. My overall personality is laid back, and I absolutely detest drama and conflict. I am an ambitious person as I have worked hard in school and in my career. With that said, family is very important to me and believe in balancing work and family life. I am a girl who knows what she likes and wants out of life.

I am a normal looking girl and am told often that I look deceivingly young for my age. I have an overall outgoing personality, but like anyone else I appreciate a little down time. I have at times a very goofy and at times a wicked sense of humor. Even in the stress of everyday life, I look for the good and lighter side of life. I am grateful to have this life.

My goal is to grow, learn and evolve in all aspects of life (personally, professionally, spiritually, academically, etc. ). My faith is important to me, and I am a practicing Muslim (i. e. I pray and fast. I do not drink or smoke and do observe halaal). However, I do not wear hijab at this time.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for the right person who will be a good husband and a good father. I am looking for a partner in life not a boss. I pray that my husband and I will grow and learn together; not drift apart.

Obviously, looks are a component, but it is not the only criteria. Chemistry is a very important factor. I appreciate people who can carry a conversation and do not take themselves too seriously. My preference is to find someone who does practice their Deen or at the very least is working on improving themselves and learning more.
